Council Rates

The option of full payment, less discount, or four instalments is available to ratepayers if their 2008/2009Council Rates and Charges are paid on or before Monday, 15th September 2008.

Pensioners please note that you will only be entitled to 50% of the discount if you are paying 50% of the Council Rates, the other 50% will be claimed from the Department of State Revenue.

Council accepts payment by cash, cheque, money order and credit card. (Please note a 1% surcharge applies to credit cards)

If you are experiencing difficulties in paying, please contact Council's Finance Officer, Mrs. Jessica Parker, on 9951 7006, during office hours, to arrange a payment plan (fees do apply).

Final notices will be issued seven (7) days after due date.

The instalment due dates are as follows for the 2008/2009 Council Rates and Charges...

1st Instalment ~ 15th September 2008

2nd Instalment ~ 17th November 2008

3rd Instalment ~ 15th January 2009

4th Instalment ~ 16th March 2009
