The Community Citizen of the Year Awards celebrates the positive impact of individuals and groups who are engaged and committed to their local community.

The Awards are made up of four categories:

Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged over 16 years)
Young Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged 16-30 years)
Senior Community Citizen of the Year (for individuals aged 65 years and over)
Active Citizenship (for community groups or events)
Nominations can be made for contributions to education, health, fundraising, voluntary services, business, sports, arts, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that enhances the wellbeing of our community.

Nominations for the 2025 Community Citizen of the Year Awards are now open and close on 14 November 2024.
