Volunteering opportunities

Why Volunteer

Volunteers play a pivotal role in the fabric of Western Australian society. Studies reveal that we have in excess of 600,000 individuals who generously dedicate their time, contributing an astounding $39 billion annually to our state’s economy. The absence of volunteers would bring our state’s activities to a standstill.

The recognised description of volunteering is the selfless contribution of time for the collective welfare, devoid of any monetary compensation.

When we consider the benefits gained from volunteering we are all winners – the impact has a ripple affect starting with the volunteer, the organisation, service and/or people benefitting from the volunteer and the impact this has on our community.
