Active Kids Grants

Australian Sports Foundation has just released their Active Kids Grant Round.

Open from Monday 13th December and closing on Monday 24th January, the Active Kids Grant round will focus on making sure community and grassroots clubs can access equipment and uniforms needed to bounce back and return to sport following disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Active Kids Grant round is supporting sports participants aged 20 years or younger with grants specifically for kit and equipment to deliver programs and increase sports participation. The supply of these grants will be supported by HART Sports (hardware equipment), and ISC (competition teamwear/apparel).

The grants have been divided into the following categories:

  • Equipment grants from Hart Sport of up to $2,500
  • Equipment Grants from Hart Sport of up to $5,000
  • Competition wear grants from ISC of up to $5,000
  • Competition wear or equipment from ISC and Hart Sport up to $10,000

(Terms and conditions apply)

The hope is to make applying for this grant round as simple as possible for community and grassroots clubs within Australia. There has been an Active Kids Grant toolkit created that includes everything applicants need to give them the best chance at submitting a successful Active Kids Grant application.
