As part of the National EV Charging Network, the Federal Government in partnership with the National Roads and Motorists’ Association (NRMA) is seeking to establish and fund fast electric vehicle charging stations across Australia. The ‘Driving the Nation Fund’ includes $39.3 million from the Federal Government matched by the NRMA to deliver the National EV Charging Network.
NRMA has identified Eneabba as a possible suitable location for a pair of ultrafast 180kW chargers; which are compatible with all EVs on sale today and could charge Australia’s most popular EVs from 20 to 80 per cent battery charge in around 30 minutes.
NRMA has identified 2 potential sites in Eneabba (Site ‘A’ and Site ‘B’) within the Eneabba Drive road reserve. NRMA has asked Council to sign a letter of intent to support either or both locations. There is no cost to the Shire for the installation or operation of the ultrafast 180kW chargers.
Land Details: Within the in the Eneabba Drive road reserve (generally opposite the Eneabba
Roadhouse).
Proposal: Two ultrafast 180kW chargers in either location ‘A’ or location ‘B’ as per the following QR code, or by clicking on this LINK .
