Notice of Intention to Levy Differential Rates
In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Carnamah hereby gives notice of its intention to impose differential rates for the GRV rating category in the 2026/27 financial year.
Details of the proposed minimum rates and rate in the dollar for each category are as follows:

| GRV Mining | 2,115.00 | 33.2700 |
| UV Rural &Mining | 1,057.00 | 0.7638 |
A statement of the objects and reasons for the proposed rates and minimum payments is available for inspection at the:
- Shire Administration Office, 33-37 Macpherson Street, Carnamah during normal opening hours; or
- Eneabba Administration/Library Office on Monday, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm; or

Submissions may be lodged by electors or ratepayers in respect of the Intention to Levy Differential Rates and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Carnamah either by post to PO Box 80, Carnamah WA 6517 or by email to shire@carnamah.wa.gov.au
All submissions must be received by 2.00pm on Wednesday 26 August 2026.
